To perform our contract with you: creating your account, taking payment, issuing vouchers, sending receipts, and handling support requests. Without this data we cannot sell you a deal.

Our legitimate interests: keeping the platform secure, preventing fraud, and improving how the service works. We only rely on this where it does not override your rights.

Legal obligation: keeping tax and accounting records for purchases.

Account details: for as long as your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of you closing it.

Purchase and voucher records: seven years from the date of purchase, because tax and accounting law requires it.

Marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

Cookie and analytics data: up to 14 months, or until you change your cookie choices.

Support messages: two years after the conversation ends.

When a period ends we delete the data or remove anything that identifies you.

Dealeo operates from the United States, and our hosting, database, payment and email providers store data there. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, using Dealeo means your personal information is transferred outside your country.

We rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and the UK Addendum where it applies, in our contracts with these providers. That is our safeguard for these transfers. You can ask us for a copy of those terms.

What we access: If you choose Sign in with Google, Dealeo receives your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or any other Google data.

How we use it: We use this information only to create your Dealeo account, sign you in, show your name and picture in your profile, and send receipts and vouchers for deals you buy.

How we store and protect it: The data is stored in our secure account database, which is encrypted in transit and at rest. Only authorized Dealeo staff can access it when needed to support your account.

Sharing: We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except with our hosting and authentication providers as needed to run the service, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion: We keep this data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and Google data at any time by contacting us using the details below, and you can remove Dealeo's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Dealeo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Strictly necessary: these keep you signed in, hold your basket and protect the checkout. The site cannot work without them, so they are always on.

Measurement: these tell us which pages and deals people use, so we can improve them. Off until you turn them on.

Marketing: these let us show you relevant deals elsewhere on the web. Off until you turn them on.
